Last minute getaway to Grey Havens Inn was the perfect romantic Maine getaway! (and reconnaissance for a future event). Ali and Carlos are so welcoming and fun. The Inn is immaculate, charming, and cozy. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Dinner at blue was amazing! The bar offers delicious craft cocktails. Coffee in the morning, while rocking on the back porch was perfect, overlooking the coastal harbor, while we waited for the perfect breakfast. We are super excited to have booked the entire inn for our daughters October 2026 wedding! We can’t wait to return with family and friends!

We had the most relaxing vacation this August. I looked for a remote inn so we could get away and have some peace and quiet and this inn was perfect. I could watch the sea from the porch for hours, and we did (see the photo with the flag). We even caught sight of several bald eagles. We caught up on reading and just communicating with each other, and took day trips all around the area including on a lighthouse tour and visiting the nearby world class botanical gardens. The location can not be beat, and the hosts were wonderful. Take a step back in time (it feels like the 1920s-1940s) and have a lovely trip! Five Islands down the road has the best lobster! We felt like we had the whole beach at Reid State Park to ourselves! If you can't tell, we loved it. We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary.

Blue is the restaurant at Grey Havens Inn. Dinner at Blue is a gustatorial delight. The food is superbly prepared and very appetizingly presented. The owners were lovely and eager to make our dinner memorable. I recommend Blue without reservation.

We recently stayed 2 nights for a friends wedding and it was our first time staying at an Inn and our first trip to Maine. We were blown away by how clean and thoughtful our room was. The owners are friendly and welcoming and made us feel very at home. The food was amazing and being gluten free, there were always options I could choose. The view and front porch was the best part. Truly a wonderful experience all around.

Another great stay ! We have been coming here 22 years since our daughter found Grey Havens for her sisters wedding. I think there have been 3 different Inn Keepers during that time and the current owners are the best. They are lovingly improving this historic Inn. They added a good restaurant too. I dream of sitting on their porch looking out on the ocean with a glass of wine and then being summoned into BLUE for dinner. It was 96 in Boston and 75 on the porch. The room was comfortable to sleep and ceiling fans kept us cool.

After a day of sailing it was lovely to enjoy an amazing meal at the restaurant. Excellent service and likely the best meal I’ve ever eaten. Creative and delicious duck served with comfortingly warm risotto and inspiring fresh veggies. Appetizer was excellent and our friends said the same about their meals. And the room was comfortable, fun and fancy.

Beautiful inn with lovely staff and unbeatable views of the Atlantic. We celebrated a wedding there and it was intimate, special, and well-done. My only request would be greater variety at breakfast - other than that, 5/5 stars across the board.

Stopped here for a night on our way home from a trip to Canada and were so glad we did. The property is beautiful, the hosts are friendly and accommodating, the dinner at Blue was amazing, and the same for breakfast. Great visit!
